Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) is set to offer smartphones for free on August 17.
The electronic retailer Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) announced that it will hold a one day sale event to offer its customers a chance to grab the Motorola Atrix, Samsung Fascinate and Nexus S 4G smartphones for free, with a new or upgrade purchase and two year contract.
Customers can purchase smartphones from Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) stores and online on August 17.
Scott Anderson, Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) head of merchandising, said, “Our goal is to make it as easy as possible to match people to the smartphone options that are right for them, and we love being able to offer in-demand phones at a great price – free. We’ve worked very hard to deliver a superior experience in the store and throughout the life of these phones, and will continue to give people a great excuse to come visit us for their mobile needs”.

The electronic retailer Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) is offering a Samsung Tablet with the purchase of Samsung HDTVs starting from August 21.
Customers can obtain a 16GB Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with the purchase of a Samsung 46 Class LED Smart 3D HDTV as part of its Perfect Match Promise.
Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) is promising a 60 day price drop promise, 3-year special financing and ‘Satisfaction Guaranteed’ as part of the Perfect Match Promise.
